Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born on 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. She is half English mixed with Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father, an Argentinean of Scottish as well as English heritage is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish and English descent. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. They lived within Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria part of London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to learn English to the hope of moving back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed from Northlands in order to attend Hill House. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in shows. After she turned 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actor from a young age. The realization of her dreams came after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
