SarahAahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980), better known as Sarah Shahi, an American model and actress. She was Carmen in the TV show The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012), and Sameen Shaw in the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). Also, she has played the lead role of Det. Dani Reese in Life,[3] and as a character in Alias. In 2018, she starred in the television series Reverie. She was a frequent character in City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5[5]. She was also a part of seven episodes on The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic romance Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women In Texas. There, she was invited to move to Hollywood and was offered roles in Alias as well as Dawson's Creek. In 2005, she took on the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as a supporting character on The L Word. She joined the show in its second season. Shahi's contract for two years was ended following the fourth season. The character she played was eliminated from the show.
