Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Picha is an Indian-American business executive. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google and was born in Madurai in India.[4Pichai earned his diploma in metallurgical engineering from IIT Kharagpur. After making the move to the United States, Pichai earned an M.S. He graduated with a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He also obtained an MBA from the Wharton School of Pennsylvania. Following a brief time at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. There, he was in charge of the development of Google Drive, and for the management of products and innovations. He also oversees the development of Google Maps, Gmail, and other applications. In 2010 Pichai also announced the open-sourcing of the new video codec VP8 developed by Google and also introduced the brand new format for video, WebM. 2012 saw the release of Chromebook. In 2013, Pichai added Android to the list of Google products that he oversaw.
