
Heidi Watney was born May 19th, 1981. She is an American sportscaster. A graduate of the University of San Diego, her previous experience in sportscasting includes the roles of MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations in Fresno. Watney was a student at Clovis West High School in Fresno and participated in hurdles, diving, gymnastics and cheerleading. She was a National Merit Scholar. She attended the University of San Diego with an academic scholarship. In 2003, she graduated with high honours. Watney was the Miss California USA 2002 runner-up. Watney is the mother of professional golfer Nick Watney.
